Welcoming our new guitarist Scott

We've been having an extended break since our last gig of Nov 2017, and as much as we loved our time with John on guitar, things didn't work out, as he ended up getting very busy with work and subsequently backed out from the band.  We understand, and no disrespect John!  Took us a minute to regroup and figure out what to do next, and after a period of searching have just had our first rehearsal with a new guitarist Scott who not only has a decent ska background but is also in our age group and of the mindset that he would like to continue being our guitar hero!  So a very warm welcome to Scott, and we look forward to announcing our future dates for this year - stay tuned!

Welcome to The Accidents

This is the site for the newest San Francisco ska/reggae band, The Accidents.

We chose to name ourselves The Accidents in tribute to how the band formed; that story itself being one happy accident overall.

Founded by members from former SF ska bands The Free Toasters, Rhythm Syndicate, and UCSB bands The Itch and Under Influence, this new band is starting out with a set of twelve or so songs containing ska and reggae arrangements of some popular 70s and 80s rock hits, along with a few originals.  So far the entire set runs about 60 minutes.

Featuring three-part vocal harmonies and three lead singers, we hope to provide the perfect musical setting for a good old-school skanking ska/reggae party.

Our debut performance is set to happen on September 2nd 2017 at a private party, and our debut public performance is set for 8pm on September 8th at Doc's Lab in the North Beach district of San Francisco.  Buy tickets here.
